Little Snitch started a long way from a construction site.
I spent my early career in video production in the United States, making ski films for Warren Miller. Filming in the mountains teaches you two things that never leave you: how to capture footage that makes people stop and watch, and how to keep camera equipment running in conditions that are doing their best to destroy it.
When I moved back home to Australia, I put that experience to work in construction photography. The demand for long term time lapse was obvious, but the cameras on the market were not up to the job. They were big, bulky and expensive, and the technology inside them was years behind what was possible.
So we set out to engineer a better solution from the ground up. Combining the latest solar, battery and 4G technology, our team designed and developed a compact, self-sufficient time lapse camera in Australia, purpose-built to survive the elements on Australian work sites. It can be express posted anywhere in the country, screwed into place and switched on. No technicians, no site visits, no mains power. That camera is the Little Snitch.
